Hoodoo Designs captures the attention of Canadian singers and songwriters
Airdrie, Alberta. November 17, 2009 When eight-time Juno award winner Jann Arden goes on tour this November across Canada, her souvenir stand will have a special addition that stands out from the t shirts and key chains.
A devoted Twitter user, Arden stumbled across Airdrie designer Christine Taylor and her company Hoodoo Designs on the social networking site. The Canada's Walk of Fame inductee was so captivated by Taylor's customized pendants, that she called Taylor to see if a meeting was possible. The result? Taylor has designed four unique glass pendants featuring Jann's very own beautiful angel artwork. These limited edition pendants will be sold during her concert tour starting in the fall of 2009. Arden isn't the only Canadian singer/songwriter to notice Taylor's unique work. Hoodoo Designs was commissioned to design a pendant for Donny Anderson, which he wore at the 2009 Canadian Country Music Awards in Vancouver, BC on September 13, 2009.
Hoodoo Designs was born when Christine Taylor decided to use her creative talents to start her own design company, turning her back on 13 years working in the corporate world of IT at an oil and gas company, The company specializes in handmade personalized glass jewelry, hair jewels, handmade wedding invitations and graphic design.
